WHAT IS PROPOLIS?

Propolis is a resinous mixture that honey bees collect from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources. It is often called "nature's penicillin" due to its antibacterial, antibiotic, antifungal and antiviral properties. Synthetic antibiotics carry with them side effects - propolis, has no such side effects. It has also been shown to fight bacterial strains that have become resistant to synthetic antibiotics.
Bees collect propolis, combine it with nectar and treat it with their own enzymes. They use propolis to seal the hive, and also at the entrance to the hive to sterilize themselves as they come and go. The bees must be doing something right because beehives contain less bacteria and are far more sterile than hospitals.

FACT: Bees are the only insects having been found to be bacteria free.

COMPOSITION OF PROPOLIS
Normally it is dark brown in color, but it can be found in green, red, black and has slightly bitter taste. Over 180 compounds were found in propolis: 38 flavonoids, including galangin, apigenin, luteolin, pinostrobin and others, that have antiinflammatory, antispasmolytic, antioxidant, antimutagenic, antifungal properties. Propolis contains: all of the vitamins with an exception of vitamin K, 13 out of 14 minerals that are required for normal functioning of the human body, 16 amino acids, 500 more bioflavonoids (vitamin P) than is found in oranges.

BEE  POLLEN

What is Bee Pollen?

As the bees collect nectar from the flowers, they also gather pollen by rubbing inside the bloom.
Bee pollen has been known to help speed up the healing process, revitalize the body's many systems, and assist in protecting cells in our bodies from free radical damage - a major cause of cancer. It helps to improve unhealthy and/or aging skin, clear acne, age spots and plump wrinkles. It helps strengthen the heart, helps fight anemia, and help regulate high blood pressure by regulating blood flow. Rich in lecithin, bee pollwn helps speed up calorie burning and stabilize faulty metabolism. It has antibiotic, astringent, relaxant, tonic, and nutritive properties.

Composition of Bee  Pollen

Bee Pollen is considered a superfood because it contains all the nutrients needed for life. It possesses over 180 known nutritional ingredients including at least 22 amino acids, 18 vitamins, 25 minerals, 59 trace elements, 11 enzymes or co-enzymes, 14 fatty acids, 11 carbohydrates and approximately 25% protein (it contains over 50% more protein than beef). Bee pollen is extremely rich in carotenes, which are metabolic precursors of vitamin A. It is also high in B complex and vitamins C, D, E, and Lecithin.

How to use Bee Pollen?

It is important to start taking bee pollen slowly. Bee products may cause allergic reactions in some people. If you have never taken bee pollen before, start by putting a couple granules under your togue to test for sensitivity. If allergic reaction occurs, consult  your nutritionist. continue with just a couple to try
